Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher did not spare criticism of Ronald Araujo after Barcelona's defeat to Sevilla.
The former player and Sky Sports analyst stated that the Uruguayan defender has become a burden for the team in high-level matches.
"Every time Barcelona face strong opponents, he breaks away and it is costing the team dearly. If Barcelona want to succeed, they must sell him without a doubt," said Carragher.

Speaking about Araujo's playing style, he added that the player's passion is no longer enough.
"I like the attitude with which he enters the match, but there comes a moment when passion is no longer enough. Defending at this level is about decision-making, not just about tackling. And there Araujo has a deficiency that hurts the team in the decisive moments and matches of the season."
Carragher also stressed that Barcelona need centre-backs who excel at stopping and organising the defensive line, such as Inigo Martinez last season, who joined Al Nassr in the summer.
