Cameras catch referee in VAR room placing a bet while the match was being broadcast live
A referee in the VAR room was caught on camera doing analysis on a betting site during a live match in Bulgaria.
The images are quite frightening for this judge, as the footage is very clear.
Betting/gambling is prohibited for referees and match officials in every football league around the world.
The consequence of being caught red-handed can be severe for any official who violates the rules.
It remains to be seen what will happen to this judge after the investigations, but he seems to have secured the suspension. /Telegraph/
