"Calls for the shooting of Osmani" - Haxhi Avdyli resigns from Guxo

MP Haxhi Avdyli has resigned from the Guxo List as a sign of protest over the attacks on the country's president, Vjosa Osmani.
Avdyli wrote in a post on the social network Facebook that the unscrupulous attacks on Osmani, even calling for her shooting, as well as the public lynchings against her by well-known and unknown figures, including attacks on her children, are a policy that should belong to the bitter past.
"The manipulations with artificial intelligence, which dehumanize the President and those who think differently, only to incite uncontrollable hatred, and for electoral purposes, are truly disgusting. This campaign of calls for violence is both dangerous and completely unacceptable to me, and has touched me deeply. As someone who has always promoted peace, dialogue, understanding and respect even with people with whom we have political differences, I cannot remain silent and cower in the face of such a situation," Avdyli wrote.
He also said: "In protest, and in order not to identify myself with this low campaign, I have decided to irrevocably resign from all positions in the Guxo Party." /Telegraph/
