All procedures for holding the protest announced for December 13th at Skanderbeg Square in Skopje have been exceeded.

The municipality of Chairi has informed the competent authorities about ensuring the smooth running of the protest, which is being organized in its territory.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announces that an Operational Headquarters will be formed, which they say is standard procedure for gatherings of this nature.

Part of the staff are representatives of all organizational units within the Public Safety Bureau.

"For the protest announced for 13.12.2025, an Operational Headquarters will be formed, which represents a standard procedure for any large-scale announced civic gathering. All security measures will be implemented in accordance with the laws and bylaws in force, in order to ensure the safe and unhindered development of the public gathering," the Ministry of Internal Affairs says.

Rafiz Aliti, from the Protest Council, in an interview with Alsat, rejected accusations that the protest is organized for political motives, describing Saturday's protest as nationwide.

"We are not protesting for them to be released from the Hague court, or for the trial to be stopped, on the contrary we are demanding justice. This protest aims to truly have a fair trial, because during all this time many anomalies have occurred during the trial of the special court in The Hague" - Rafiz Aliti, Protest Council.

Organizers are urging Kosovar protesters to travel to North Macedonia by car rather than bus to avoid delays. The December 13 protest is being organized by the War Veterans Organization in support of former KLA leaders who are on trial in The Hague. /Alsat.mk
