Brooklyn Beckham says he won't agree with his parents: I've been controlled for most of my life

The Beckham family conflict has finally moved beyond tabloid gossip and into an open scandal that is shaking Hollywood.
Brooklyn Beckham has reacted publicly through a long statement on Instagram, accusing his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of having tried for years to "control the narrative" of his life and of having "constantly tried to destroy" his marriage to Nicola Peltz.
Brooklyn, who has been estranged from his family for about three years, explains that he has chosen to remain silent for a long time to maintain privacy, but according to him, this silence has been used against him.

"I have remained silent for years and have made every effort to keep these matters private. Unfortunately, my parents and their team have continued to turn to the media, leaving me with no choice but to speak out myself and tell the truth about some of the lies that have been published."
He clearly emphasizes that he does not seek reconciliation with the family and that this statement is an act of self-defense.

"I don't want to agree with my family. I'm not being controlled by anyone. For the first time in my life, I'm standing up for myself."
In his statement, Brooklyn describes his relationship with his parents and siblings as fake and built on public facades. According to him, family ties have only been kept alive through "forced social media posts" and formal appearances at family events.

He accuses his parents of spreading "countless lies" in the media about his personal life and his wife.
An important part of the statement is dedicated to his relationship with Nicola Peltz, which Brooklyn says his parents did everything they could to prevent.
The same claims that his mother, Victoria Beckham, canceled the making of Nicolas' wedding dress at the last minute and even tried to convince her to sign a waiver of the rights to his name before getting married.

Brooklyn also dwells on a very sensitive moment from his wedding day, telling how his mother ruined his first dance with his wife.
"Marc Anthony called me up on stage, where according to the program I was supposed to have a romantic dance with my wife, but instead of her, my mother was waiting for me there. She danced very inappropriately with me, in front of everyone. I have never felt more uncomfortable and humiliated in my entire life."

At the end of the statement, Brooklyn disputes the widespread narrative that Nicola Peltz controls his life, calling the claim "completely false."
"The truth is the opposite. It's my parents who have tried to manipulate me."
He ends the message with a clear statement about how he wants to live.
"My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy, and happiness for us and our future family."

Brooklyn's statement has caused strong reactions in the media and the public, questioning the image of the Beckham family, which for years has been perceived as one of the most unified and protected families in the world of fame. /Telegraph/
