Britons are being urged to notify the police if their neighbors are not adhering to quarantine

As part of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, police in Great Britain are asking Britons to report if their neighbors are not adhering to the quarantine rules ordered by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

A special telephone line has already been created, where it can be announced if more than two people have gathered in the neighborhood, as well as how much is the party they are holding, Telegrafi reports.

In the West Midlands, Greater Manchester, Avon and Somerset it is also being asked to report those seen breaking the rules in various ways.

Through portals created on the Internet, these non-emergency announcements are being requested, in order to eliminate the habit of meetings with handshakes, hugs, and unnecessary standing in close proximity.

All those who tell about the actions of neighbors are asked to fill out a form to indicate what behavior they demonstrate, in order to serve as a record of how people behave in such situations.

This request comes after the British police have started patrolling with drones to check for unnecessary movements and group gatherings in different areas. /Telegraph/
