Karen Pierce, the UK's envoy for the Western Balkans, has announced that she has begun work in the position entrusted to her.
Pierce, in a post on the X platform, emphasized that she is pleased that she will now be going to Berlin, Germany, for the Western Balkans.
"Like the UK, Germany plays a key role in the region. We look forward to working together as close partners with the UK as it hosts the Berlin Process," Pierce wrote, the Telegraph reports.

Karen Pierce was appointed by the UK as envoy for the Western Balkans in February of this year.
The announcement issued by British institutions states that diplomat Pierce has been given the confidence to continue working to achieve the goals of the Western Balkans.
"As one of the UK's most experienced diplomats, Dame Karen Pierce has been appointed as the UK's Special Envoy to the Western Balkans, tasked with advancing the UK's strategic objectives across the region, including preparations for the Summit," the announcement said. British institutions.
