British Prime Minister raises his voice from Tirana: If Russia does not sit at the negotiating table, Putin will pay the price

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer was direct in his statement regarding the war in Ukraine during the Political Community Summit in Tirana.

He said that if Russia does not sit at this negotiating table, Putin will pay the price.

"We are in a new era, but one characterized by volatility, by instability, it's sad, but this is the new era," Starmer said.

"Partnership is vital to achieving recovery, for those people who seek and deserve it."


"The most urgent challenge here today is securing a just and lasting peace in Ukraine. We must do more for our own defense," he added.

"We must be prepared to follow it to the end. If Russia does not sit at this negotiating table, Putin will pay the price," the British prime minister concluded.
