British MP, Alicia Kearns, has expressed her joy at being in Kosovo to celebrate the country's 18th anniversary of Independence.
In a post on social media, Kearns stressed the importance of international support for Kosovo.
"Kosovo's friends must stand by it in defense of self-determination, peace, and common security," she wrote.
She also described Kosovo as “a leading light of democracy in a difficult circle,” and underlined that “we cannot stand idly by while imperialist ambitions threaten security throughout the Balkans.”
MP Kearns said that her visit to Kosovo is a sign of Britain's support for regional stability, democracy and security, reaffirming the strong ties between her country and Kosovo. /Telegraph/
