The Kosovo Agency of Statistics (KAS) has published the Government Accounts for the third quarter of 2025, which present the revenues and expenditures of the General Government.

According to ASK, Government revenues have increased compared to the same period in 2024.


"Total General Government revenues in Q3 2025 were 927.2 million euros, while revenues in Q3 2024 were 818.7 million euros," the announcement states.

The largest share of revenues is comprised of taxes on products at 73.6%, current taxes on income at 14.1%, and payments for non-market production (sales) at 3.8%. The remainder is distributed among other revenue categories.

At the same time, Government spending has also increased.

"Total General Government expenditures in Q3 2025 were 826.6 million euros, while expenditures in Q3 2024 were 774.8 million euros," the announcement states.

The largest expenditures are recorded in compensation of employees (28.2%), social contributions and benefits (25.9%), gross capital formation (13.7%) and intermediate consumption (13.6%). The remaining amount is divided into other expenditure categories, according to the ESA2010 classification.

The KAS publication provides a detailed overview of the fiscal developments of the Government of Kosovo for this quarterly period. /Telegrafi/
