Boston airport officials called in a bomb squad after a 'suspicious' device caused panic, but it turned out to be a faulty PlayStation

Passengers at Boston's Logan International Airport were ordered to leave a terminal due to a "suspicious" device.

However, this device that caused such alarm turned out to be nothing but a faulty PlayStation.

In a video shared on Twitter by a passenger, an airport employee can be heard telling people to leave a secure checkpoint to be rescreened by intelligence agents.

As a result, people are seen writing towards the checkpoint.

The person addressing the passengers is heard saying: "You have to get out, it's mandatory."

Massachusetts State Police said their bomb squad was called after security staff spotted a suspicious item in a bag as it went through a baggage check. /Telegraph/
