Blendi Fevziu presents one of the most beautiful swimming pools in the world that is being built on the cliffs of Shëngjin by Dukagjini Resort

On the northern coast of Albania, in the area known as Rana e Hedhun, the newest Dukagjini Resort project is being developed.

As this resort is expected to bring a new standard in luxury accommodation in Albania, one of the most beautiful swimming pools in the world is expected to be built there.

According to journalist Blendi Fevziu, who was present at the site where the project in question is being built, the pool was designed by world-renowned architect Chris Precht.

"Chris Precht is a world-renowned architect who has worked in China and Bali. He is obsessed with preserving nature and heritage. He was contacted by Dukagjini, the company that owns the land and is developing one of Albania's rarest and most important projects," he says.

Meanwhile, regarding what this pool will look like, Fevziu provided other details.

"When he saw two cliffs that opened up with a stunning view over Ulcinj, Velipojë, Rana e Hedhun and with a little twist to Lalzit Bay, Chris Precht decided to create a pool that would be a floating pool towards the sea and would be 5 meters out over the trees that would be placed under the pool along with other rocks and would have a glass bottom so that the entire area could be seen, thus becoming one of the most beautiful pools in the world," he said.

Meanwhile, the general director of the Dukagjini corporation, Korab Lluka, said that the first planning for the project in question began 12 years ago, when this area was a military zone, adding that what made this area special was the presence of pine trees on the sea sand.

Lluka also revealed more details about the resort project and the apartments that will be built there.

"400 apartments will be built here. 200 will be in the upper part, which is called the veranda and the residence, and the lower part is the village. Meanwhile, in the northern part there will be 49 apartments and it will be a much smaller and exclusive building. There will also be a hotel there that will have 135 rooms, a 2000-square-meter casino and a 3000-square-meter spa, as well as 7 restaurants," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the amount invested, Lluka said that the total, excluding the northern apartments, will be 80 million euros.

As for investment opportunities, Lluka said that they aim to offer the most affordable prices for all interested parties who want to invest there.
