Big revolution at Bayern, eight departures expected during the summer

Despite significant contract extensions, the summer is expected to bring major changes to the composition of the FC Bayern Munich squad. The sporting directors, led by Max Eberl and Christoph Freund, will face an intense transfer market, as almost every department of the team is affected by potential moves.
After months of negotiations, Bayern confirmed the renewals with Serge Gnabry (until 2028) and Dayot Upamecano (until 2030). The two experienced players will be part of the project next season, but not all of their teammates will be in the traditional pre-season photo.
The departure of Leon Goretzka (31) is considered almost a done deal. After eight years in Munich, the midfielder is expected to leave, with AC Milan showing serious interest, while clubs from England and Turkey are also monitoring the situation.
The future of Raphael Guerreiro (32) remains unclear. His contract expires in the summer and current signals point towards a possible departure, with SL Benfica mentioned as an option.

17-year-old talent Wisdom Mike is expected to extend his contract until 2027 and then be loaned out to gain experience. Meanwhile, Nicolas Jackson (24) will return to Chelsea, as the Bavarian club is not expected to activate his €65m buyout option.
The situation of reserve goalkeeper Sven Ulreich (37) is still open. His contract expires in the summer and talks are ongoing, with a possible move not ruled out.
The future of Kim Min-jae (29) also remains in doubt. The South Korean defender has long been mentioned as a candidate for departure, but the lack of a satisfactory offer has hindered developments. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have shown interest in him.

Manuel Neuer (39) is also out of contract this summer. The legendary goalkeeper, five times named the best in the world in his role, has yet to make a final decision on his future, but there is optimism within the club that he will sign a one-year extension.
At the bottom of the list is Konrad Laimer (28). Bayern are keen to keep the Austrian midfielder, but demands for a pay rise have stalled negotiations. However, his tactical importance and flexibility on the pitch make a deal possible.
With several contracts expiring, others up for renegotiation and several departures expected, the summer in Munich is set to be busy. Despite their ambition to aim for the treble, the Bavarians will have to carefully manage a significant transition in the squad. /Telegraph/
