"Big market", Canaj: Abdixhiku is seeking the post of prime minister and eight ministers

Political analyst Blerim Canaj has commented on the demands of LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku for the post of prime minister and several ministries, emphasizing that such an agreement could mean a major political bargain.

Former diplomat, Canaj said that the bonds between Abdixhiku and Kurti are very strong.

"If Abdixhiku fails to become prime minister, he will not have the position he is happy with. Even in meetings with other parties, Abdixhiku is asking for the post of prime minister and 7-8 ministers, but where will he get them? If this is the case, then the bargain will be big. Maybe he is doing it on purpose, because Abdixhiku's ties with Kurti are quite strong," Canaj said, for RTV21.

Regarding the fear of forming a new government, Canaj says that no one knows what to expect due to the fear of the unknown.

According to him, the most serious thing is that the parties do not know what else is expected, apart from the big topics.

"What is most difficult is that no one knows what else awaits us, apart from the big issues. This means that there is also that fear of the unknown and now, of course, we also have some fear. But within it, I have the impression that there are parties that are also wanting to raise their cost, their price in the sense of the bargain," said Canaj.
