Bexhet Xheladini, the mayor with the most votes from the diaspora

Bexhet Xheladini, the mayor of Dragash, is the candidate with the most votes from the diaspora in the second round of local elections.

Xheladini of the Democratic League of Kosovo secured a full 873 votes, leaving behind the candidates for mayor of 17 other municipalities who went to the runoff on November 9.

According to the CEC's summary results, Bexhet Xheladini won 59.19% of all votes, thus defeating Shaban Shaban of the PDK, with whom they were competing for the first of Dragash.
