Besa e Pejës with great hope that they will remain in the First League despite strong competition

Three wins in the last four matches have helped Besa e Pejës regain their confidence that they can "survive" in the First League.
The competition in the second division of Kosovo football this season has been extraordinary, with not only six teams vying to return to the elite, but also a huge competition to avoid relegation to the Second League.
With major reinforcements in the winter transfer window, one of them being the return of Donart Sheqerolli, who was also entrusted with the captain's armband - Besa e Pejës is working intensively to achieve its objective.
In an interview with Telegrafi, Sheqerolli says that the start of this year has been excellent, and with the numerous reinforcements, he believes that they will remain in the First League.
"We have started the season very well. We have three wins out of four games. When we arrived, we found the club in a bad position in the table. It will be difficult, but together with the club's leader, with the transfers we have made, we really hope that we will remain part of the First League."

He admitted that the competition this season has been very intense, also because some teams with tradition are dreaming of promotion.
"This year the championship in the First League is very strong, it is known that there are teams with more history, with a lot of tradition. At the same time, this year in the First League there are also many famous coaches, which makes the competition very difficult, at the same time very competitive."
Sheqerolli added, among other things, that he did not return to Besa because of the ribbon, but to help his hometown club.
"It may seem like a sudden decision, but for me it's very easy. The moment that the city club called, where I grew up and developed both as a player and as a person."
"It's very easy for me to come back here. It's not about the captain's armband or any other benefit, except the desire I have."

In the end, the midfielder optimistically declared that Besa e Peja will cause problems for every opponent.
"The atmosphere is very good. We have built a very competitive team in this area. We are a very strong team for each opponent and we believe that we will achieve the goal that we have in common."
"Long-term goals? I believe I will be here at Besa for a very long time, so long, to continue until I finish my career. These are the goals," he concluded.
We recall, after 22 laps – Besa occupies the penultimate position with 17 points, but the difference is so small that with a victory you immediately climb to 12th position./Telegrafi/
