Berisha asked about former KLA leaders: Sir, I am a Kosovar

Former Prime Minister of the country, Sali Berisha, said again tonight, December 11, in front of journalist Blendi Fevziu on "Opinion" that "he is a Kosovar" and that he has never in his life made a distinction between Kosovo and Albania.
He also spoke about the imprisonment of four former KLA leaders.
Sali Berisha: Sir, I am a Kosovar, I can't think...
Question: How are you Kosovar?
Sali berisha: I am a Kosovar, Tropoja is Kosovo, as is Mitrovica, Suhareka. If you ask me, I think about Albania and Kosovo, I don't have any difference.
But was his relationship with Hashim Thaçi tense?
"Absolutely not! He came to the office and I gave him full support, go back to the rally, to my statements about the KLA", the leading Democrat replied.
He even remembered the moment when a British official told him that "he is a KLA commissar."
"No, I tell them, I'm not a commissar. I support the war and the movement. Why then do you say, your house has become their base? It has become a base because of my family's tradition, my conviction. They were killed for Kosovo.", Berisha confessed.
Regarding the four former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, who are in The Hague, he said with conviction that "they are innocent."
"When I say this, I am a person who fully accepts domestic and international law, but to this day, I have not found a single piece of evidence to substantiate their crimes.", declared the DP leader.
He declared that after the wars of Skanderbeg, the KLA war is "the brightest page of the Albanian wars."/Tv Klan
