In an extraordinary charity evening, the "Balkan Orphans" Association managed to raise around 5 million euros for families in need.
The news was announced by the association's director, Halil Kastrati, who in a Facebook post described this event as a testament to the humanity and solidarity of Albanians.
"The first Iftar organized by the 'Balkan Orphans' Association in Emerald gathered businesses from all over Albania, who became part of a magnificent project for those most in need. With unparalleled solidarity, they donated nearly 5 million euros, proving once again that kindness and humanity are values that unite us," Kastrati wrote.
One of the contributors was Bekim Jashari, who donated 100 thousand euros to this cause.
This act of charity comes as a great support for families in need and an example of the power of unity for a good cause. /Telegraph/
