Bekë Berisha has been elected president of the Sigal Prishtina basketball club, receiving the majority of votes in the club's Electoral Assembly.

KB Prishtina has held the Electoral Assembly, where the basketball club now has a new president, with Beka Berisha, who won the majority of votes.

It was Berisha himself who confirmed to Telegrafi his choice to lead the most trophy-winning basketball club in the country.

He replaces Blerand Stavileci, who previously led the club and was strongly opposed by the "Plisat" fan group, especially in recent months, where they had even held protests.

Bekë Berisha has an active political profile; he has been a candidate for mayor of Pristina and will also be a member of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo in the Kosovo Assembly.

With this choice, the club aims to start a new chapter under Berisha's leadership and strengthen organizational stability and sporting performance. /Telegraph/
