The Central Election Commission (CEC) today decided to suspend the New Kosovo Alliance (AKR) party, founded by Behgjet Pacolli.
According to the CEC, this is because it failed to organize internal elections within the deadline.
The CEC further stated that the AKR was obligated to hold internal elections by February 25, 2026.
Meanwhile, the CEC decision obliges AKR to carry out the internal election process within 45 days, otherwise, as they said, "the party will be deregistered." /Telegrafi/
