Begaj in Kosovo, Police announce temporary traffic disruptions on several road segments

The President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Kosovo on February 16 and 17, 2026.
The Kosovo Police announces that during this visit, they will take care of maintaining public order and peace, as well as regulating traffic during the movement of the escort and the delegation's stay in the country.
According to the official announcement, to enable the free movement of the escort according to the planned itinerary, the Kosovo Police will temporarily interrupt traffic on several road segments where the escort is expected to pass.
These interruptions will occur at short intervals and traffic may be rerouted to alternative routes.
President Begaj is expected to arrive on February 16 in the afternoon at the Vërmica border crossing, while his return is scheduled for February 17 in the evening.
Kosovo Police has requested understanding from citizens and traffic participants regarding the temporary restrictions and measures taken during this official visit. /Telegrafi/
