Beci: The statue of Queen Teutë adds value to the panoramic balcony between Shëngjin and Velipoja

The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, has stated that the panoramic balcony between Shëngjin and Velipoja is taking on a special value through the placement of the statue of Queen Teutë, emphasizing that this action is not a territorial decision, but a choice that transcends administrative borders.
According to Beci, the placement of the statue aims to exalt the figure of Queen Teutë and the history she represents, while the position of the panoramic balcony gives the work its full meaning.
"From this point, the view extends over the Adriatic, from Ulcinj to Durrës, placing Queen Teutë in the space that historically belongs to her - that of the sea, coastal cities and a heritage that unites us," Beci emphasized.
He expressed gratitude to the artist Julian Muçollari, who created the work, as well as to the journalist Marin Mema, in his capacity as the director of the "Other Albania" foundation, who contributed to the realization of the project.
A special thank you, according to Beci, also went to the Mayor of Lezha, Pjerin Ndreu, with whom the decision was shared and agreed upon in full institutional understanding.
Finally, the mayor of Shkodra also thanked the citizens who react and feel connected to history and national symbols, emphasizing that only by looking further, with clarity and understanding, can more value be built for the heritage and for the country.Telegrafi/
