Bayern Munich held to a draw away from Union Berlin

Bayern Munich has recorded a 1-0 away victory over Union Berlin in the 26th week of the German football elite. 

The first half was very quiet with the Bavarians dominating in terms of ball possession, but unable to find the right spaces to attack the opposing goal. 

The only chance in the first half came in extra time when Serge Gnabry took a powerful shot which was stopped by the home goalkeeper. 


The first serious threat in the second half for the home team came from Harry Kane, who in the 50th minute came close to scoring with a free kick, but was stopped by goalkeeper Frederik Ronnow. 

The only goal-scoring opportunity in this match for the home team came in the 59th minute, when Josip Juranovic forced goalkeeper Jonas Urbig to make a save to deny him the goal. 

In the 63rd minute, Jamal Musiala came close to scoring, but Ronnoë made a super save in the left corner of his goal. 

After several consecutive attempts to find the goal, the Bavarians managed to score the winning goal in the 75th minute. 

The author of this goal was Leroy Sane who made no mistake in putting the ball in the net for 1-0 after an assist from Josip Stanasic. 

With this victory, Bayern moves to 64 points, 11 more than Bayer Leverkusen in second place who has 53, but the latter with one less match played.Telegraph/
