Bayern Munich identify two stars as Harry Kane successors

German club Bayern Munich have reportedly identified two well-known strikers as potential successors to England star Harry Kane at the Allianz Arena.

Harry Kane recently set a Bundesliga record, scoring two headed goals to take his tally to 55 goals for Bayern Munich.

No player had been more successful in their first 50 Bundesliga appearances.

Despite this, according to Sports pictureBayern are preparing for the future and are looking for a replacement for the English striker, who will turn 32 in July.

Names such as Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig and Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon have been discussed, with both likely costing around €70m but earning significantly less than Kane, who has a €25m-a-year contract.

Reports suggest Kane has a release clause in his contract, allowing him to leave for €80m in the winter transfer window.

The clause will be active again in 2026 for a lower price and Kane will be free to leave in 2027. /Telegraph/
