Bayern decide to sell a star to finance the transfer of Florian Wirtz
Bayern Munich have decided to give up Kingsley Coman to finance the arrival of Florian Wirtz, one of the most promising talents in German football.
Coman, who has a contract until 2027, is considered one of the players who could bring in revenue to make this transfer of Wirtz happen.
With his departure, Bayern will not only reduce the financial burden, but will also be able to benefit from a significant transfer fee, which could reach up to 50 million euros.
Coman has been a key player for Bayern Munich for almost a decade, contributing pace, balance and goals at crucial moments, such as the 2020 Champions League final.
However, the club considers it is the right time for a change, given Coman's high salary of around 17 million euros per season and the need to renew the squad.
English clubs have shown interest in Coman, but he also has important offers from Saudi Arabia.
