Bayern Munich and Liverpool in battle for Premier League hitman transfer
Bayern Munich and Liverpool are set for a fierce showdown in the summer transfer window of 2025 for talented Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton, writes The Sun.
The 21-year-old, also linked with Real Madrid, has become a top target for both clubs.
Despite a groin injury that sidelined him for three months this season, Wharton's potential remains undeniable, having earned a place in the England squad for Euro 2024.
Bayern Munich, eyeing a midfield overhaul, see Wharton as a potential replacement for Joao Palhinha, who could return to Fulham.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have other targets to prioritize, but remain one of the admirers.
