Bayern's madness, within a year it has paid 100 million euros in signing bonuses

Players who wait too long to extend their contracts often pay the price, and FC Bayern realized this last year. A huge amount was spent on signing bonuses alone.
Dayot Upamecano, another key player for Bayern, is close to signing a contract extension. After difficult negotiations, the centre-back is set to receive his dream contract, including a signing bonus of 16-20 million euros over five years, according to reports from 'tz' and 'kicker'.
However, Bayern have shown extraordinary generosity in this area: within a year, the reigning German champions have paid out €100 million in signing bonuses for their stars, including the upcoming deal with Upamecano.

The papers also list the signings of Jonathan Tah (29), Tom Bischof (20) and Jonas Urbig (22), as well as contract extensions to Jamal Musiala (22), Alphonso Davies (25) and Joshua Kimmich (30).
However, conflicting reports suggest that Kimmich may have forgone a signing bonus.
Another Bayern player, Serge Gnabry (30), is close to signing a contract extension that will last until 2028. On the other hand, Leon Goretzka (30) will leave this summer, while the futures of Manuel Neuer (39), Sven Ulreich (37) and Raphael Guerreiro (32) remain uncertain.
All of these players are expected to demand signing bonuses for any contract extensions. /Telegraph/
