The head of the Democratic Party Group, Gazment Bardhi, has requested an interpellation with Prime Minister Edi Rama, appealing to the speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, to stop the session and call the head of the government.
However, the speaker of parliament said that due to the agenda of the prime minister, the interpellation cannot take place, adding that the next parliamentary session will be held.
"The DP group has requested an interpellation with Prime Minister Edi Rama for the execution of a payment of 110 million euros for someone whom the Prime Minister has called a mafia. Why is it not included in the agenda? You will have to interrupt the session and call the prime minister. The issue we have raised is of major public interest. The Prime Minister said that he will not receive any lek from the state budget, but he received more than the planned bonus for pensioners", said Gazment Bardhi.
Spiropali replied: "Your request has been received, it has been forwarded to the Council of Ministers and the Prime Minister, but due to the agenda of the Prime Minister, it cannot be carried out today, but will be carried out in the next session".
