Barcelona is considering center back Ron Raçi as an option for the near future.

The Catalans are in a difficult financial situation, while they are constantly looking at some cheaper options, but which suit coach Hansi Flick's style of play.

As Football Transfer News reports, Raçi is the newest name on Barcelona's list, with the Spanish giants preferring him because he plays with his left foot despite his central defender position.

"Barcelona is scouting Ron Racin, the Hajduk Split center back."

"Barcelona are actively pursuing a left-footed centre-back for next season. One of the names is Rron Raçi, the young defender valued by Hajduk Split, who has impressed with top performances in Croatian football," their announcement states, among other things.

Meanwhile, Barcelona's roster also includes well-known center backs such as Alessandro Bastoni, Nico Schlotterbeck and Micky van de Veen.

Raçi remains extremely important for Kosovo as well, with coach Franco Foda seeing him as an option for the 2026 World Cup play-offs.Telegrafi/
