Barcelona have rejected the signing of two big European stars

Barcelona were reportedly given the chance to sign stars Virgil van Dijk and Joshua Kimmich, but turned it down.

Both renowned European players were recently offered to the Catalan club as their contracts with Liverpool and Bayern Munich expire at the end of the season.

However, according to the newspaper Sport, sporting director Deco turned down the opportunity to sign them as Barcelona want to focus on younger players.

The club has shifted its transfer strategy towards long-term investments rather than experienced signings.

According to the report, the defense will also be further strengthened in the summer when Jonathan Tah arrives on a free transfer.
