(Complete news) - The Kosovo police interviewed and then released a person in connection with the events in Bajnska that happened in September of last year.

The deputy director of the police for the north of Kosovo, Veton Elshani, has stated for the Telegraph that he is a person of interest for interview and that he was asked about his activity in relation to the events in Banjska.

"A person of interest in relation to the Banjska case is being interrogated at the police station in the south. After the interview, he will be released", declared Elshani.

The deputy police director for the north later confirmed for the Telegraph that he was released after the interview.

Otherwise, yesterday the Special Prosecutor's Office of Kosovo filed an indictment against 45 people for organizing and carrying out the armed attack on the Kosovo Police, in Banjska, Zveçan, on September 24, 2023.
