Bahtijari marks historic moment in Kosovo tourism - visits Seychelles with Kosovo passport

Flamur Bahtijari, the owner of AS Travel Club, has become the first Kosovar to travel to Seychelles with a passport of the Republic of Kosovo, opening a new tropical destination for our citizens.
From Business Class to Mahé Island, he posted pictures and wrote: "Seychelles is now open to Kosovo passports, because someone had to be first."
The trip marks the finalization of a multi-year process that Bahtiyar has been conducting at international tourism fairs. The path began in 2019 with his first official meeting with Didier Dogley, the then Minister of Tourism of Seychelles, where strengthening cooperation and the possibility of a tourism agreement were discussed. The contact was deepened in 2022 with two important meetings: with Patsy Moustache, Head of the Seychelles Mission in London, and with Sylvestre Radegonde, Minister of Foreign Affairs, who guaranteed the commitment to creating a new tourist connection between the two countries. Photos from these meetings clearly document the journey that led to this historic moment.
Although Seychelles does not yet formally recognize the independence of the Republic of Kosovo, authorities have allowed the entry of Kosovars for tourist purposes with a Kosovo passport for the first time, making Bahtijari's trip the first of its kind.

Seychelles, with 115 islands, white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters, is one of the world's most sought-after destinations for luxury vacations and romantic getaways. AS Travel Club announced this step through a mysterious post that piqued the curiosity of followers.
The agency is expected to soon publish the first packages to Seychelles, opening up new opportunities for Kosovar tourists.
