The famous Puerto Rican singer, Bad Bunny, is facing a lawsuit, in which a woman from Puerto Rico is seeking $16 million in damages or 14 million euros for the unauthorized use of her voice in two of his songs.

According to legal documents, the voice recording was made in 2018, in a non-professional context, when she agreed to record a phrase at the request of producer Roberto Rosalido, whom she had met during a study course.

She claims that at no point was she informed that the recording would be used for commercial purposes or released in songs distributed globally.

Her voice was first used in the song "Solo de mi", part of the highly successful album X100pre, released in 2018, one of Bad Bunny's most popular projects.

Years later, the same audio fragment was reused in the song "EeO", released in 2025 on the album "Debi tirar mss fotos".

Both songs have reached millions of plays on digital platforms, which, according to the plaintiff, constitutes a large economic benefit from the use of her voice without consent.

The woman emphasizes that no contract was signed and no payment was negotiated for the use of her voice for musical, promotional or advertising purposes, considering this action as a violation of her personal and intellectual rights.

So far, Bad Bunny has not publicly responded to the allegations, while the issue is receiving significant media attention, especially at a time when the artist is preparing for his next tour and for his appearance as the main star in the Super Bowl LX spectacle. /Telegraph/
