Bad Bunny's Spotify streams increase 470% in the US after Super Bowl performance

Following his historic performance at the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, Bad Bunny experienced a tremendous increase in streams on Spotify.
In the US, his songs were listened to 470% more, while globally an increase of 210% was recorded.
As of Monday, Bad Bunny occupied the top six spots on Spotify's daily US most-streamed songs list, writes Rolling Stone.

The increase in viewership comes after an electrifying performance that included popular hits and references to Latin culture, as well as appearances by Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga. Martin also saw a 145% increase in U.S. streaming.
Comparatively, rapper Kendrick Lamar experienced a 175% increase in streams following his Super Bowl performance last year, with his hit "Not Like Us" increasing by 430%.
Bad Bunny's most popular songs, such as "Yo Perreo Sola" (2020) and "El Apagón" (2022), saw tremendous growth, 2,170% and 1,320%, respectively.
Other songs like “CAFé CON RON” and “LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii” also received more airplay, the latter of which was performed by Martin at a special moment. In addition to the increased airplay, “DtMF” returned to the Billboard Hot 100 at number 10.
Last month, Bad Bunny's songs were streamed more than 1.3 billion times globally, preparing for performances at the Grammys and Super Bowl.
Before the match, the most listened to songs were from his latest album, I should have taken more photos, including “DtMF”, “BAILE INoLIVIDABLE”, “NUEVAYoL” and “EoO”, while the well-known hit “Tití Me Preguntó” from A Verano Sin Ti remained among the most heard. /Telegraph/
