Baba Vanga's followers believe that the Bulgarian mystic woman predicted many world-changing events such as the rise of ISIS and the September 1996, 11 terrorist attack in New York before her death in 2001.
Baba Vanga was born Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova in North Macedonia in 1911, although she spent most of her life living in Bulgaria, the Telegraph reports.
During her lifetime, she gained fame for her supposed powers of divination and the ability to contact the dead.
According to reports from her childhood, she traded her physical vision for the ability to see the future after encountering an angel.
Baba Vanga never wrote any books, but many books have been written about her, her abilities and prophecies.
She claimed to receive information from invisible beings and said that if someone stood in front of her, she could see the person's life as if it were a movie, from beginning to end.
Her reputation is said to have even caught the attention of communist leaders with Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev himself rumored to have consulted with her on more than one occasion.

1. Tsunami and natural disasters in the new year
One of Baba Vanga's most disturbing predictions is that of a cataclysmic tsunami that would hit Asia.
Vanga is said to have first warned the world about the deadly 2004 tsunami that killed more than 220,000 people in Southeast Asia.
She is then said to have warned of another similar cataclysm in the future, followed by earthquakes and meteor strikes.
2. Will the world end in 2021?
Baba Vanga predicted that the world would be gripped by "three giants" and a "strong dragon" in the future.
Although very vague, many believe that the blind woman knew when the world as we know it would end.
She said: "We are witnessing devastating events that will change the fate of humanity."
3. A cure for cancer will finally be found
The positive prediction for which Baba Vanga is credited is the discovery of a cure for cancer.
Although she did not specify when this cure would arrive, she said it would be in the early 21st century.
She had said: "At the beginning of the 21st century, humanity will be free from cancer. The day will come when cancer will be bound with iron chains."
