In this week's episode of the podcast "Health First" the importance of healthy eating, weight maintenance, and the importance of vitamins and minerals in the body were discussed.


Nutritionist and dietitian, Albulena Shabani Ilazi, on the podcast "Health First", with author Besnike Salihu, shared tips for improving well-being through food.

"Really, I don't prefer any element by far... unless necessary due to an allergy.. A meal should be balanced with macro and micro nutrients," said nutritionist Shabani Ilazi.

According to her, what we should eliminate from our daily menu are simple carbohydrates and bad fats.

She also revealed what is preferred for breakfast and lunch, which teas are preferred before bed, and she also brings a recipe for clove tea.

Nutritionist Shabani Ilazi also talks about the importance of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin D and magnesium.

"Vitamin D does not in any way cause low levels... it is the main factor in reducing inflation, it affects immunity and mainly hormone metabolism...", she said.

The nutritionist also spoke about the extremely important role of probiotics and prebiotics, which is not talked about much.
