The Qafë Thore-Theth road axis has been completely blocked after avalanches fell in the area near the panoramic tunnels.
Through an announcement on social media, the Albanian Road Authority announced that snow avalanches have fallen around kilometer 5.5 of this road, writes A2 CNN.
The announcement also states that for safety reasons, traffic will remain closed to all vehicles, including snowplows, as the area poses a high risk of crossing.
Meanwhile, it is also known that near the endangered area, work is being done to remove small avalanches and expand the passageway, as preparatory work for intervention in the blocked area.
