Kosovo Police have announced a case of attempted murder in the village of Koshuticë, Leposaviq, where two Syrian citizens were found with injuries to their legs and head.

The case happened on Wednesday, at 00:50.


"Two Kosovar female witnesses reported that in the yard of their house they noticed a person lying with wounds on various parts of the body caused by a sharp instrument," the report states.

Furthermore, the Police announce that the person is around 40 years old, a citizen of Syria and was sent for medical treatment to the North Mitrovica Hospital and then transferred to the South Mitrovica Hospital for further treatment.

Meanwhile, in the additional report at around 11:05, the Police state that they were notified that the SPMK Jarinje unit, while patrolling in the village of Koshuticë, had observed a 27-year-old Syrian male with head and leg injuries that were suspected to have been caused by a sharp instrument.

"The victim reported that the incident occurred last night and the suspect fled towards the Serbian border. The emergency unit took the victim to the South Mitrovica Hospital for further treatment," the 24-hour Police report states. /Telegraph/
