The Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Kumanovo issued an Order to conduct an investigative procedure against a person suspected of having committed the criminal offense of attempted "Murder" under Article 123 paragraph 2 point 4 in conjunction with Article 19 of the Criminal Code, reports Telegraph Macedonia.
"On December 4, in a hotel in Kumanovo, the 84-year-old suspect, out of base motives, intentionally attempted to take the life of a woman.
In the morning, he took advantage of a moment when a hotel guest opened the door, entered the building, and came to the room where the injured woman and her motionless husband were.
When she saw him, she got up and walked towards the door of the room to prevent him from entering, but at that moment the suspect took out a knife and hit her in the head with it. At the moment the knife fell, the injured woman managed to get away and started screaming loudly and asking for help, so her son came out of the other room and stopped the suspect," the PTHP say.
They also announced that upon the proposal of the public prosecutor, the preliminary procedure judge from the Basic Court in Kumanovo ordered the suspect to be remanded in custody./Telegraph/
