Atletico Madrid humiliates Barcelona in the King's Cup

Atletico Madrid have convincingly triumphed over Barcelona with a score of 4-0, in a dramatic clash that yielded goals, VAR and red cards in the semi-finals of the King's Cup.
The match started in the worst possible way for the Catalans. In the sixth minute, Eric Garcia deflected the ball into his own net, giving the home team the lead.
Atletico continued to press and doubled their lead in the 14th minute. Antoine Griezmann reacted quickly inside the area and sent the ball into the left corner of the goal for 2-0.
Barcelona tried to react, with Fermin hitting the crossbar in the 20th minute, but the home team were more specific. In the 33rd minute, Ademola Lookman took advantage of Julian Alvarez's assist and scored to make it 3-0.

In first-half stoppage time, Alvarez sealed a dominant 45 minutes for Atletico, scoring to make it 4-0 with a precise shot from distance.
Barcelona tried to come back in the second half and narrowed the score in the 52nd minute.
Pau Cubarsi reacted best after a ball returned to the area and scored for 4-1. Initially there were doubts about offside position and this was confirmed by VAR by canceling the goal.

However, any hope for a goal from the Blaugranas was dashed in the 86th minute.
Eric Garcia was initially shown a yellow card for a rough tackle, but after a VAR review, referee Juan Martinez sent him off straight away with a red card.
The return match between these two teams at Camp Nou will be played on March 3.Telegrafi/
