Athletes from Skopje will leave today for the "Independence Marathon"

Today at 11:30 in front of the Park Hotel & Spa (near the Philip II Arena), marathon athletes from Skopje will start the "Independence Marathon", which is organized for the fifth time in a row by the two cities of Ulcinj and Shkodër, informs Telegrafi. Macedonia.

This event is one of the most important events that historically connects the two states. It is run from one country to another through the borders freely in honor of the great holiday of the Independence of Albania on November 28.
In this marathon, the best Albanian athletes from all countries participate, even sports lovers who come from the Diaspora, to compete, run and celebrate together.

This year's marathon will start from the city of Ulcinj and end in the municipality of Shkodra with a total of 42 kilometers of full marathon.

From Macedonia, marathoners who have participated in many national and international marathons will participate: Ardian Miftari, Hamim Çilafi, as well as professor Naser Miftari, historian and lover of sports and a great supporter of marathon runners.
