At least 12 people were killed overnight in Gaza by Israeli strikes, health officials announced today.
According to staff at al-Aqsa Hospital, which received the bodies of the victims, the pre-dawn attacks hit three houses in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
Among the dead were three children, including two brothers whose bodies were dismembered, according to data from the hospital morgue.
Israel has been carrying out daily attacks on Gaza since the end of a ceasefire with Hamas last month.
Since the beginning of March, it has banned all imports for two million Palestinians - including food and medicine - in order, according to Israeli authorities, to put pressure on the militant group Hamas to release the hostages.
Over 52 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli war against Hamas in Gaza, according to data from the Ministry of Health. /Telegraph/
