The Alliance for Albanians - Branch in Vrapçisht has informed the public through a post that the position of the mayor of Vrapçisht, Isen Shabani, on running as an independent candidate in the upcoming local elections is his personal position and not that of the Alliance structures in the Vrapçisht branch.
"The Alliance for Albanians branch in Vrapčisht stands behind every decision in force made by the Central Assembly of the Alliance for Albanians. Regarding the upcoming local elections, the Alliance for Albanians branch in Vrapčisht will be in full coordination with the central bodies of the party," announced Zulhajrat Demiri, head of the Alliance for Albanians branch - Vrapčisht.
We recall that Isen Shabani is the vice president of the Alliance for Albanians led by Ziadin Sela.
He said a few days ago that he will run as an independent candidate for Vrapçisht, but did not provide additional details about the continuation of his position in the ASH.
