Arne Slot makes decision on Salah after face-to-face conversation with Liverpool star

Mohamed Salah has returned to the Liverpool squad for Saturday's Premier League match against Brighton at Anfield.
The Egyptian striker's involvement comes after positive discussions between him and coach Arne Slot in Kirkby today, as sources informed of the matter have confirmed.
Salah's future at Anfield was thrown into doubt following his explosive comments following last weekend's defeat to Leeds United and his exclusion from the squad for the midweek Champions League clash against Inter Milan.
The decision was made by Slot, who acted on what he believes is in the best interest of the team.
Salah will leave after Saturday's match to join the Egyptian national team for the Africa Cup of Nations, and Liverpool see this separation period as important to further address the current situation.
During the press conference on Friday, Slot said: "I will have a conversation with Mo this morning and the outcome of it will determine what the situation looks like tomorrow."

"What I need is a conversation with him, and the next time I talk about Mo should be after I've spoken to him, not here. You can keep asking, but there's nothing more to say."
"We've talked a lot over the last week. There have been a lot of talks between his representatives and ours, between our representatives and his, between me and him, and today I'm going to talk to him again."
When asked if he wants the Egyptian striker to stay at Liverpool, Slot said: "I have no reason not to want him to stay."
Salah's reaction after being sent off for the third consecutive game was strong, saying he had been "thrown under the bus" by Liverpool and that his relationship with Slot had broken down.Telegrafi/
