Arne Slot gives green light for five Liverpool players to leave in the summer
Liverpool manager Arne Slot is reportedly considering selling five players as part of a major squad overhaul plan.
With Arsenal dropping points against Manchester United at Old Trafford while Liverpool secured a 3-1 home win over Southampton, it seems the Reds will most likely be crowned champions.
Several Liverpool players have taken a step forward since Slot replaced manager Jurgen Klopp at the start of the season, transforming into one of the best teams in Europe.
Despite this, a new report has claimed that the Dutch manager has already selected five players he is willing to let leave in the summer.
Sky Sports journalist Florian Plettenberg has revealed that Slot is planning big changes in the summer and Liverpool are expected to make some big signings.
To facilitate this, Slot has reportedly given the green light to the sale of Caoimhin Kelleher, Wataru Endo, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa and Diogo Jota.
With goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili set to join Liverpool in the summer, Kelleher is not part of Slot's plans for the future.
Several different clubs are said to be interested in signing the 26-year-old, including Chelsea.Telegraph/
