The Municipality of Qendre e Zhupa will continue to be led by Arijan Ibraim for the next four years, for whom this is his fourth consecutive term as mayor.

"In today's repeat elections, 1003 citizens out of a total of 7652 registered voters exercised their right to vote. Of these, 973 voted for Arijan Ibraimi, while 30 were invalid ballots. Election Day passed without problems," said Nexhip Iljaz, chairman of the Municipal Election Commission.

Ibraimi (54) was nominated by the Democratic Party of Turks and supported by the OBRM-PDUKM-led coalition.
He was first elected mayor in the local elections in 2013.

He completed his primary education in the Zhupa Center, after which he continued his education at the "Nikola Shtejn" Medical High School in Tetovo.

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Afyon State University, Republic of Turkey, and received a master's degree from Istanbul University, majoring in international law.

Otherwise, in the elections of October 19, 2025, Ibrahimi, who had two opposing candidates, received 950 votes, or three times more votes than the opposing candidates.

However, due to the unsecured census of 33.33 percent of the general electorate, the mayoral elections were repeated, just like in the previous local elections in 2021.
