The Tax Administration of Kosovo (TAK) has made significant progress in the digitalization of services for taxpayers, enabling most tax procedures to be carried out electronically.

This was stated by the General Director of TAK, Mentor Hyseni, on "Përballje Podcast", where he emphasized that the institution currently offers dozens of electronic services for businesses and citizens.

"We have around 59 electronic services that we offer to taxpayers. Today, around 3.7 million declarations are made at ATK and all of them are electronic," Hyseni said, according to Telegraph.

According to him, through these digital platforms, taxpayers can make declarations and payments without having to physically appear at the institution.

"There is no need to come to TAK to make declarations, as was the case before with paper documents. Everything is now done electronically," he emphasized.

Hyseni added that the digitalization of processes is one of the institution's priorities, with the aim of simplifying procedures for businesses and increasing the efficiency of tax administration.

"Our goal is to increase these 59 services to around 64 electronic services this year," he stated.
