Arbeloa has spoken about Vinicius Junior's future at Real Madrid and possible reinforcements

Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa has said he hopes the club and Vinicius Junior can reach an agreement to continue their collaboration, amid ongoing speculation about the Brazilian forward's future.
Vinicius' contract renewal, suspended since last summer, has been one of the main topics of discussion this season.
Following the departure of Xabi Alonso, reports from Spain suggest that Vinicius is once again open to signing a new contract with Los Blancos.
The player's agent is currently in Madrid, however so far there are no concrete signals of progress in negotiations.

Asked by the media if he would like Vinicius to renew his contract, Arbeloa was reserved but optimistic:
"It's not up to me, it's a matter between the club and the player. Of course, I hope he continues to make history here."
Arbeloa avoids discussions about reinforcements
Arbeloa was subsequently asked several times whether he thinks the team needs reinforcements or whether Real Madrid are planning moves in the transfer market.
The Spanish coach chose not to go into details, emphasizing his full confidence in the current group of players.
"I have an extraordinary squad. If we lack something, we have an excellent youth academy, as it has always been in the history of Real Madrid," said Arbeloa.

Pushed for a more concrete answer, Arbeloa added:
"I don't think it's a question for me, but I repeat: I believe I have an extraordinary team."
Real Madrid will travel to "La Ceramica" this Saturday to face Villarreal, in the match that will be played at 21:00.
This will be Arbeloa's fourth match in charge of the team.
The coach also confirmed the return of Rodrygo Goes to the roster, after missing the first three matches due to injury. /Telegraph/
