Antonio Rudiger's reaction after the red card is here - he has some words for the referee
Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger was sent off at the end of the match against Barcelona in the King's Cup final, where he has now apologized for his behavior.
The German attempted to attack the referee in the final seconds of the 3-2 defeat, when he was on the bench after having previously left the field due to an injury.
Because of his behavior, he was punished with a red card and now an apology has come.
"There is definitely no excuse for my behavior last night. I am very sorry for that. We played very well from the second half onwards."
"After 111 minutes I was not able to help my team more and before the end I made a mistake. I apologize again to the referee and everyone I disappointed last night," he wrote on Instagram.
Real Madrid were defeated after extra time by Barcelona, where the end was followed by a lot of tension, with three Real Madrid players seeing red cards.
Jude Blleingham and Lucas Vazques were also sent off. /Telegraph/
