The second person who suffered serious injuries from the accident that occurred today at around 07:40 on the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway has also died on the way to UCCK.
The news was confirmed by the director of the Emergency Department of the UCCK, Naser Syla. The same was sent from the Prizren Hospital for treatment at UCCK, but died on the way.
"He was brought from the Prizren hospital to the Emergency Center with no signs of life," Syla said.
The Prizren Hospital informed the Telegraph that two people have been treated for this accident.
However, as they said, the woman was in serious condition and intubated, and she was sent to UCCK.
In this accident, which occurred between a car and a truck, a woman also died at the scene.
"Today, at around 07:40, on the "Ibrahim Rugova" highway at kilometer 26, a traffic accident with fatal consequences occurred. A heavy transport vehicle-truck, with local license plates and a car with foreign license plates were involved in this accident. As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle lost his life, while the driver of the truck suffered injuries," said Kosovo Police spokesman Baki Kelani in the morning hours.
